Excellent quality and my Chihuahua who absolutely hated her Play Pen, loves this. We use this in the home. I keep it open with her bed on one side and a pee pad on the other. If we leave we just zip her up and there’s enough room by her bed to put small bowls of food and water if needed. It’s like a little cubby hole for her which most small dogs like that feeling of being covered so this has worked out perfectly for us. We have not used this for travel yet but I see it working out just as successfully as our home use.

We bought this cat carrier in early 2019 and our cats like it so much that we leave one of them assembled for them to play and sleep in. The one thing we didn’t like about our original purchase was that you couldn’t separate the carriers and have the second one stand on its own – it shared the side panel with the first carrier, so it only acted as a single-wide or a double-wide, but not two singles.
We just reordered this product after seeing the updated version that allowed the two carriers to be separated. I can confirm that this is now an amazing cat carrier! The two carriers easily detach and reattach via zipper. You can even quickly attach them with the buckle clips, which is a great upgrade – we can leave the carrier up with the side panels open and our cats race through it like a tunnel! Our “little” girl, who is about 10 pounds, hops right on top of these carriers and they don’t collapse (they certainly wobble, but they do not collapse). Our “big” boy, who is about 17 pounds, needs to be carried in a carrier by himself due to his size, so being able to separate the carriers was key for us.
The cats can get their own space and carrier when they get walked into the vet, but we can reconnect the carriers in the car to give the cats space to move around and join their spaces if they want.
There is a bit of a smell when these carriers come out of the package, but we just leave them outside for a few days and it hasn’t seemed to bother either of our cats. We absolutely love this carrier and so do our cats!
